11/26/2023 3:11:11 PM
Jammu, November 25: On the eve of the 15th anniversary of the dreaded terror attack in Mumbai, one more of India’s most wanted terrorists was killed by unknown gunmen on Pakistan’s soil.

This time a self-styled commander of the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) Younus Khan was shot dead by unknown men in the Mamond area of Bajaur, Pakistan.

He was working as a recruiter for the banned terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammad.

Ten members of the LeT terror group had entered the city of Mumbai on the night of November 26, 2008. Over the course of four days, they killed 166 people and injured 300. One of the locations targeted by the terrorist was a Chabad centre at Nariman House. Four Israeli citizens were killed in the attacks.

During the last two years, over two dozen terrorists were eliminated on the soil of Pakistan.

Some of the prominent terrorists killed on Pakistani soil included Dawood Malik, a prominent figure involved in anti-India activities and closely associated with the wanted terrorist Maulana Masood Azhar, was recently assassinated on Pakistani soil. His death marks the latest incident in a series of events where unknown gunmen have targeted known terrorists.

Earlier Shahid Latif, the mastermind behind the 2016 terror attack on the Indian Air Force Base in Pathankot, being killed earlier this month in Sialkot, Pakistan.

These mysterious assassinations, often executed by unidentified individuals, have sparked widespread speculations. There are hints from Pakistani security agencies about the potential involvement of India's external intelligence agency, the Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW).
