SHOPIAN, Nov 27: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) was organised today here in 6 Panchayats of the Keller block of the district.
The Yatra is a significant step towards the direction of achievement of universal coverage of eligible people for scheme benefits, generation of schemes awareness by reaching out to the unreached. Under Meri Zubaani, Meri Kahani, beneficiaries shared with appreciation and gratitude towards the hassle free and momentous service delivery.
BDO Keller, Shakil Ahmad and department incharges, briefed the participants on various beneficiary oriented schemes of their respective panchayats and highlighted government programmes and schemes especially PMJAY, JJM, Insurance and Social Security Schemes and other employment and welfare based schemes.
Comprehensive health screening was conducted, including online registration of eligible beneficiaries for Ayushman Bharat, screening for TB, Sickle Cell Anaemia.
On spot services including Drone demonstrations, adhaar authentication, health screening, distribution of handouts and assistance, was done on the occasion.
Stalls of departments focused to respond to issues of people and helped them to avail them to register for different schemes of the government.
The people of these Panchayats participated in Viksit Bharat Yatra programmes in large number.The locals of these Panchayats warmly welcomed Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra programmes with folk songs & cultural performances. |
