| CAO withholds pay of three officers | | |
UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 20 -To ensure regularity, punctuality and to improve work culture in subordinate units of Agriculture Department, the Chief Agriculture Officer Udhampur paid a surprise visit to Sub Divisional Agriculture Office Udhampur, Seed Certification Assistant and Enforcement Inspector and found the gazetted staff absent from duty today who have not recorded any movement in the office about their where abouts. The absentees included two Subject Matter Specialists (SMS) and one Junior Agriculture Assistant.
The Sub Divisional Agriculture Officer Udhampur has been directed that they pay of the absentees for the month of September be kept withheld till further orders. The CAO has also served a warning to all officers and officials to be punctual to their duties and discharge their duties with zeal and devotion.

ADDC Kathua inspects offices
KATHUA, SEPTEMBER 20 (INFO)- Additional District Development Commissioner, Kathua, Dr Mandeep K. Bhandari paid a surprise visit to the offices located in DC Office complex this morning.
During his surprise visit Mr. Bhandari inspected the office of Assistant Commissioner (Development) Kathua, District Panchayat Officer and Executive Engineer Rural Engineering Wing.
All the officials were present in their respective offices.
Later Dr. Bhandari had a brief discussion with Assistant Commissioner (Development) Kathua, Mr. Shyam Bijyal and other officials regarding different Rural Development activities.
Assistant Commissioner Development apprised him about the progress of works particularly in Model villages and expressed his concern about the blockade of Basohli- Dhar Mahanpur road for the last two months. Mr. Bijyal requested the ADDC to ask the concerned PWD authorities of Basohli division to restore Basohli- Dhar-Mahanpur road as early as possible so that construction material is carried in load carriers to the site of model village Dhar Mahanpur.
