| Notorious criminal booked under PSA by police | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 28: An information was received at PS Miran Sahib regarding one notorious Drug Peddler namely Rohit Kumar @ Binny S/o Satish Kumar R/o Darsopur, Miran Sahib, Jammu.who was evading his arrests in multiple cases. On this special police team of PS Miran Sahib Led by SDPO RS Pura Nikhil Gogna JKPS assisted by SHO Police' station Miran Sahib Insp Bopinder Singh under the Overall supervision of SP Headquarter Ramnish Gupta JKPS raided at the suspected places and arrested the notorious criminal. It is pertinent to mention that a warrant of arrest under PSA vide order No 31 of 2023 dated 20/11/2023 under section 8 (1) (A) of J&K Public Safety Act 1978 was issued against the accused by District Magistrate Jammu after receiving the dossier from district police against the accused . The said accused was habitual of indulging in criminal activities. There were various cases in which accused was involved in different police stations of different districts of Jammu zone .Details of the cases are as under :-
Case FIR No. 48/2016 U/S 8/15 NDPS Act, PS Satwari, Case FIR No 244/2017 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act, PS GandhiNagar, Case FIR No 10/2018 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act PS Miran Sahib., Case FIR No 148/2020 U/S 8/15 NDPS Act PS Satwari and Case FIR No 157/2023 U/S 457/380 IPC PS Miran Sahib.
Finally today the warrant was executed and the accused was sent to Central Jail Kot Bhalwal Jammu. |
