| Dr. R. K. Sharma complete ‘AO’ fellowship | | |

Dr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma (M.S Ortho) working as Orthopedic Surgeon in govt. Rajiv Gandhi hospital, Gangyal has becomes the first Orthopedic Surgeon in health department who has successfully completed “AO” ASIF fellowship with Prof. Micheal J. Raschke at the University Hospital Muenster in Germany recently.
“AO” AISF is a network of Orthopedic surgeons committed to the study, practice and teaching of AO Principles and their advancement in Trauma and corrective surgery. AO group was formed in Nov. 6th and till then has been working on the principles of Anatomic reduction, Stable fixation, Atraumatic surgical techniques and early painfree mobilization.
Dr. Sharma is the only Orthopedic Surgeon in state who has done all the “AO” courses including the Basic, Advanced and Master courses and has recently done “AO” fellowship in Trauma management.
His specialized services can be utilized by the patients suffering from all types of fractures, old and new including complicated like nonunions, fractures around joints and other Orthopedic deformities.
