UDHAMPUR, Nov 29: A block level “Yuva Vani” programme under HADP was organized in the Meeting Hall, Sub Divisional Agriculture Office, Kallar, Udhampur to attract and empower rural youth towards agriculture & allied sectors as a business opportunity.
As many as 60 youths from block Udhampur including youths from Govt. Polytechnic College, Udhampur participated. During the programme, SDAO, Shiv Parshotam Jyoti emphasized the importance of agriculture and allied sectors in the rural economy and encouraged the youth to take up these sectors as a viable business opportunity.
He also highlighted the various support systems and financial assistance available from the government for the youth interested in venturing into these sectors.
SMS Udhampur, Vinod Gupta shared success stories of young entrepreneurs who have made a mark in the agriculture and allied sectors, inspiring the youth to pursue similar paths. He also emphasized the need for innovation and adaptation of modern techniques to increase productivity and profitability in these sectors. The programme concluded with an interactive session where the participants were able to ask questions and seek clarifications on various aspects of agriculture and allied sectors. |
