DC Poonch reviews arrangements for OMR based Panchayat Secretary Exam

POONCH, Nov 29: To ensure fair and smooth conduct of OMR based written examination for Panchayat Secretary posts, the Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Yasin M. Choudhary today chaired a meeting of concerned officers to review the arrangements put in place at the designated examination centres.
At the outset, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tahir Mustafa Malik gave a detailed layout of examination centres and tentative sitting arrangements through a PPT.
The chair discussed threadbare arrangements to be put in place at examination centres set up for the smooth conduct of the SSB examination across the district.
During the meeting, Police and Education departments were entrusted to ensure foolproof security and proper seating arrangements at all the centers while SDM and Tehsildars were instructed to monitor the seating arrangements.
Besides, arrangements for provision of drinking water, electricity, manpower, etc. were also reviewed.
The DC instructed officers to visit the examination centres and ensure all arrangements are in place well in time and impressed upon all stakeholders to work in close coordination and ensure smooth and successful conduct of examination. The meeting was attended by Senior Superintendent of Police, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, CPO, ACD, ACP, Principal Degree College Poonch, District Treasury Officer, Chief Education Officer, District Education Planning Officer in addition to Observers, Duty Magistrates, Centre Superintendents and Deputy Superintendents deployed for the said exam.
