| Ghosh lays foundations stone of hostel complex | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 11- Controller General of Defence Accounts Bulbul Ghosh today laid the foundation stone of the Pay Accounts Office Hostel Complex Building of Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry Regiment at the Regimental Centre at Rangreth, near Old Air Field at Srinagar. The Project has been sanctioned by Government of India at a cost of about Rs. three crores. The foundation laying ceremony was held in presence of Lt. General Bikram Singh, GOC 15 Corps, Gautam Sen, Principal Controller of Defence Accounts and Major General S.S.Goudar, GOC Kilo Force and a large number of Defence and Civil Officials including Chief Engineers of Project Beacon Srinagar Zone and Cantonment Executive Officer, Srinagar. The Project will take care of the welfare of the Pay Accounts Staff of Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry Regiment, which is one of the two Regiments raised in this state. The program was coordinated by S.S. Rajashekar, Joint Controller of Defence Accounts, Jammu and Brig Varinder Singh, Commandant of the Centre. Before leaving for Delhi today, the Controller General had a meeting with Lt. Gen. P.C. Bhardwaj, GOC in C Northern Command at Udhampur.
