Grand Opening Marks Commencement of UT Netball Championship in Jammu

Jammu, Dec 4: The UT Netball Championship commenced in Jammu with a vibrant opening ceremony that saw enthusiastic participation from over 12 districts, showcasing a promising start to this exciting sporting event under the auspices of the J&K Sports Council, led by Ms. Nuzhat Gul Mam (Secretary J&K Sports Council).
The inauguration was a spectacular affair with Ranjeet Kalra, a distinguished member of the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, serving as the chief guest. His presence added an air of anticipation and fervor to the championship.
The ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including special guests like Mubashir Hasan, Director of the Cricket Academy, in charge of Media and Publication at Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, Bajinder Pal Bali, Divisional Sports Officer Jammu, Bhisham Batra, Director of the Batra Group, . Ritika Slathia, Manager of the Indoor Sports Complex at Bhagwati Nagar, Gautam Shukla, and Sahil Chopra, both distinguished officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council.
The collective presence of these esteemed individuals served as a source of inspiration and motivation for the participating athletes, highlighting the commitment of the sports community in nurturing talent and fostering a culture of athleticism in the region.
