Prof. Hans Raj addressed the students, emphasizing the pivotal role of youth in shaping the electoral landscape. He underscored the importance of every eligible individual, especially those who have recently turned 18, registering themselves in the voter list and actively participating in the upcoming parliamentary election.
As part of the SVEEP activities, the students carried placards and raised slogans, promoting the essence of voting in a democracy. A signature campaign was also conducted, further amplifying awareness about the significance of electoral participation.
The meticulous planning and execution of the event were overseen by Dr. Akhter Hussain, with support from committee members Dr. Sunil Tanoch, Prof. Shaista Yasmeen, Dr. Zahoor Mir, Dr. Mahima Bhagat, and Dr. Muntazir Ahmed Bhat.
Prof. Hans Raj's Call to Action: Prof. Hans Raj urged not only the students but also their family members to exercise their franchise in the upcoming parliamentary election. He highlighted that active participation in the democratic process is fundamental to the nation's progress and governance.
