| Jain review’s progress of various ERA Projects | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 12
The chief executive officer of (CEO) J&K Economic Reconstruction Agency (ERA), Pankaj Jain today reviewed progress of the projects of ERA which have been prioritized by Chief Minister to be completed within 100 days of present Government. He exhorted upon the officers to strengthen inter departmental co-ordination and ensure accomplishment of targets which have been stipulated for completion in the Ist 100 days of present Government. He said in Kashmir division, Nishat water supply scheme and replacement of Dal bund transmission mains have been prioritized to be completed in urban sector while projects that needs to be completed in transport sector include Qazigund-Kulgam road, Bijbehara-Langalbal road, Wanpoh-Ahrabal and Lethpora-Panthachowk roads and bridges at Guntaldara, Town Hall-Budgam, Dachinpora and Papchan. In Jammu division, the targeted projects include replacement of Rising mains phase-I (57Km) and II (14 Km), 20 Tube Wells, 5 OHTs, 3 Public Toilets, 6 Km Nallah rehabilitation, construction of 3 Km deep drain and 8 culverts in Urban Jammu and completion of Bari-Brahmana-Bishnah road in Transport sector Jammu. Among other officers present in the meeting were Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Director General Finance ERA, Director Jammu ERA, Director Kashmir ERA, Director Central ERA, Contract Specialist ERA, Project Manager (Transport/Urban) of both region in ERA and the concerned consultants attended the meeting.
