Ramban police Swiftly resolves theft case, recovers stolen property worth Rs 2.59 lakhs within 24 hours

Ramban, Dec 6: In a commendable display of efficiency, Ramban Police successfully solved a theft case within 24 hours of receiving a complaint. The stolen property, valued at Rs 2.59 lakhs, including GSF, Concrete pine line clamp, and F clamp, was promptly recovered.
Aloke Roy, Admin & Liasion Officer at Rahee Infratech Ltd., filed a complaint at Police Post Ind, reporting the theft of valuable construction material from Baralla Ind, District Ramban. The complaint triggered the registration of FIR No. 127/2023 under section 379 IPC at Police Station Gool.
SSP Ramban, Ms. Mohita Sharma-IPS, took immediate action by constituting a special team to investigate the theft and recover the stolen property.
The team, led by PSI Vinod Saini from Police Post Ind, worked diligently under the guidance of Insp Firdous Ahmed, SHO PS Gool.
After rigorous efforts, the police successfully apprehended Muzaffer Hussain, son of Habibullah Mir, resident of Badakund, Tehsil Gool. Subsequently, the stolen property was recovered based on information provided by the suspect.
The recovery operation was carried out by the police team from PP Ind, with PSI Vinod Saini at the helm. The entire process was supervised by Insp Firdous Ahmed, SHO PS Gool, under the watchful eyes of Shri Nihar Ranjan, JKPS SDPO Gool, and Shri Gaurav Mahajan, JKPS Adl.SP Ramban. The overall supervision was conducted by SSP Ramban, Ms. Mohita Sharma-IPS.
The swift resolution of this theft case and the recovery of stolen property within 24 hours exemplifies Ramban Police’s dedication to ensuring the safety and security of the community.
