| NSS volunteers of MAM college launch cleanliness drive | | |

JAMMU, FEB 13:
The NSS volunteers of Govt. MAM college, launched clean liners drive in slum areas of Qasim Nagar and Rajiv Nagar here today. The volunteers were accompanied by their programme offices which include Prof. Hansraj, Prof. Rajesh Gupta and president Minu Jamwal.
Residents of these areas were made aware about the cleanliness in their respective areas. During the visit volunteers found that most of the parents were reluctant to educate their children, but the volunteers stressed upon the parents the importance of education and clean liners, beside merit of small family.
On the occasion, residents complained about the poor quality of drinking water and of un-hygienic sanitary condition.
