EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, FEB 13: Jammu Centre for adult and Continuing Education and Extension, Jammu University in association with the International Committee for Development and Regional co-operation organized awareness generation progreamme of Utterbahni, Nanakchack and Meduchack part of Samba district. The programmes were aimed at spreading of awareness and information among the common rural masses about the various topics and issue like Self-Help groups, micro-credit financing, legal and aid and legal rights. Girls child education, Sarve Shiskha Abhiyan, evening school (Adult Education) who was the chief guest on the occasion inaugurated the programme in the presence of Ashutosh Sharma, secretary general of the ICDRC. Project officer of ICDRC Arun Dev Singh Jamwal, field said that the international committee for development and regional co-operation which is an Indian national; autonomous, neutral, non-profit and non-government organization is working in the state for the last eight years had implemented various projects in the state on its own, without any financial support of the state government.
