SPMR College of Commerce hosts awareness program on Viksit Bharat @ 2047

JAMMU, Dec 15: SPMR College of Commerce in Jammu organized an informative program raising awareness about the "Viksit Bharat @ 2047" initiative, aimed at making India a developed nation by its centenary year of independence.
Presiding Officer: Prof. (Dr.) Surinder Kumar, Principal of SPMR College of Commerce, presided over the program.
Chief guest: Padmashree Balwant Thakur graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and shared inspiring insights.
Program Objective: The program aimed to inform students about the vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047, focusing on economic growth, social progress, environmental sustainability, and good governance.
Student Engagement: Interactive discussions enabled students to understand how they can contribute to the mission through leadership, entrepreneurship, and self-sustainability.
Guest Speaker's Message: Padmashree Balwant Thakur emphasized the importance of national pride, cultural identity, and dedication to studies for future success.
Principal's Address: Prof. Kumar encouraged students to become job creators and explore entrepreneurial opportunities. He highlighted the power of innovative ideas and motivated them to contribute to the Viksit Bharat @ 2047 website.
Interactive Elements: Banners, posters, and a selfie point were set up to further engage students and promote the initiative.
Program Coordinators: Prof. Monika Mahajan (Convener), Prof. Shaji Khan, Dr. Faiza, Prof. Binny Kumar, Dr. Roomi Rani, and Prof. Khalid Hussain led the Viksit Bharat committee for this program.
The awareness program at SPMR College of Commerce successfully informed students about the Viksit Bharat @ 2047 vision and encouraged their participation in building a developed and sustainable India. The program fostered a sense of national pride and responsibility among the future generation.
