Rashtra Katha Shivir Yatra flagged off from Hq-76 Bn CRPF

JAMMU, Dec 15: The 24th Rashtra Katha Shivir Yatra inauguration program was organized at Hq-76 Bn CRPF Jammu by 76 Bn CRPF on behalf of Jammu Sector.
Ramesh Kumar, DIG Range Jammu was present as the Chief Guest at the program along with officers/Jawans of various other battalions of CRPF Jammu Range.
Shri Vedic Mission Trust is organizing the 24th Rashtra Katha Camp at Rajkot Gujarat from 17/12/2023 to 24/12/2023 in which 25 students each from Government High School Greater Kailash Lower Chowadi, Jammu, Government High School Kalideh Sunderbani, Government High School Kandoli Nagrota and Govt. Higher Secondary School Utter Behani, Samba are participating.
The program started with the welcome speech of Mahendra Singh, 2nd In Command, who described the glorious history, various social & welfare activities undertaken by the CRPF. After this, Chief Guest Ramesh Kumar DIG Range Jammu, addressed the children and briefed them regarding the importance of the camp for awakening national spirit, apprise the rich history and culture of India, sense of national integration, social harmony, overall personality development and the programs/ activities to be held in the camp.
He informed that during the Katha Shivir, the Constitution of India, national integration, cultural and personal development, nationalism and patriotism, national security issues, environment, water, digital India, climate change & conservation, human rights, use of science & technology, Spirituality, disaster management, first aid & rules of the road are taught.
Apart from Martial arts, judo, karate, basketball, tug of war, yoga pranayama and meditation will also be conducted in the Camp. During the camp Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Coast Guard, BSF, CRPF, NDRF, SSB, ITBP will present/showcase various activities through exhibition and educate the students about various types of innovations and modern equipment for future progress. At the end of the program, Chief Guest Ramesh Kumar DIG Range Jammu flagged off the buses for their onward journey to attend 24th Rashtra Katha Shivir, Rajkot, Gujarat with good wishes.
