| Theft case solved, stolen gold, other items recovered police | | |

Jammu, Dec 15: On 08.12.2023 a complaint was lodged at PS Janipur by one person namely Deepak Talwar S/o Pritpal Talwar R/o Pamposh Colony Janipur regarding theft of gold ornaments and cash from his house.
On this, case FIR No.139/2023 u/s 457/380 IPC got registered at Police station Janipur and investigation started.
After this special police teams of PS Janipur led by SHO PS Janipur did strenuous efforts and with the help of CCTV footages of the area finally rounded up the accused person namely Abbas Khan S/o Bashir Ahmed R/o Jakheni District Udhampur A/P Beli Charana who was arrested from Beli Charana Jammu. During questioning accused confessed his involvement in the above case and on his disclosure the following stolen items were recovered from his possession:
1.One pair Tops =4.16 grams
2.One Necklace=10.67 grams
3.Bangles(Kada)=39.43 grams
4.one bangle =9.12 grams
5.Five mobile phones
6.Two Money garlands (haar)
7.Cash Rs 6000/-
8.one laptop
Further investigation of the case is going on. |
