JAMMU, FEBRUARY 13 (INFO)- Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Dr. Pawan Kotwal reviewed the necessary arrangements being made by the J&K Services Selection Recruitment Board, Jammu for conducting examination of Naib Tehsildars in a meeting convened here this morning.
Discussing the preparations for smooth conduct of the written test of Naib Tehsildars on February 22,2009, the Divisional Commissioner said that for the convenience of candidates all the examination centres have been set up within the municipal limits besides more than two centres would be set up in one building complex.
Regarding proper and adequate security arrangements in and around the examination centres, Dr. Kotwal said that section 144 would be imposed and magistrates would also be deployed. Security will also be provided to the officials carrying confidential examination papers. Engagement of supervisory staff for examination duty was also discussed in the meeting.
Dr. Kotwal asked the Chairman SSRB to ensure from heads of institutions, where examination centres are to be set up, that no other function or programme is held there on the exam days to avoid chaos or confusion and that the examination is conducted smoothly, adding the exam centres should have adequate lighting.
Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, Dr. Mandeep K. Bhandari, Director Colleges, Mr. N. D. Wani, senior officers from Education and police departments were present in the meeting.
