J&K Branch of ICAI Scores a Six with Super Sixes Cricket Tournament Season IV

JAMMU, Dec 17: The J&K Branch of the Northern India Regional Council (NIRC) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) hit a home run with the successful hosting of their Super Sixes Cricket Tournament Season IV. Held on December 15th and 16th at Greenfield, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, the event saw enthusiastic participation from both CA professionals and students.
A total of eight teams battled it out for the championship, showcasing their cricketing skills and sportsmanship.
The culmination of the tournament witnessed a heart-stopping final between Team Purple and Team Grey, with Team Grey ultimately emerging victorious under the leadership of CA Jatin Wahi.
CA Shubam Gupta and CA Munish Sharma took home the coveted titles of "Best Batsman" and "Best Bowler," respectively, for their exceptional performances throughout the tournament.
The J&K Branch officials, led by Chairman CA Vikas Purdhani, presented the trophy to the winning team, Team Grey, acknowledging their incredible display of teamwork and talent.
Umpires CA Parveen Dogra and CA Sourav Mehta were lauded for their fair and professional decisions, while commentators Ritupal Singh and CA Jai Singh Jamwal received praise for keeping the audience engaged with their lively commentary.
The presence and support of past chairpersons and senior CAs were acknowledged, highlighting the importance of community and collaboration within the chartered accountancy field.
Chairman CA Vikas Purdhani reiterated the J&K Branch's dedication to organizing events that uphold the highest standards of professionalism and foster a spirit of camaraderie among CAs.
