St Xavier Convent School's 26th Annual Day extravaganza radiates splendor and achievements

JAMMU, Dec 17: In a dazzling display of grandeur and accomplishment, St. Xavier Convent School's Junior wing celebrated its 26th Annual Day on Saturday, December 16, 2023. The event, held at the renowned educational institution, was graced by the presence of chief guest Sh. Anand Jain, IGP Jammu, adding immense prestige to the occasion.
The celebration was further enhanced by the presence of distinguished Guests of Honour, including Sh. Rahul Charak SP Rural KPS, S.M.Gill Ex MLC, and Reverend Vijay Kumar from St. Paul's church. The gathering witnessed the attendance of Director ER. H.R. Padha, Principal Pankaj Vihans Padha, Vice-Principal Mridhu Padha, faculty members, press, parents, and enthusiastic students.
The festivities commenced with a soulful prayer seeking divine blessings, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, Guests of Honour, Principal, and other eminent dignitaries. Pankaj Vihans Padha, the school's principal, extended a warm welcome to the guests and shared the institution's remarkable achievements through the Annual Report of the past session.
During the event, Randhir Salathia, an esteemed faculty member, delivered a speech highlighting the school's remarkable progress in various fields. St. Xavier Convent School created history in the J&K State Board results and excelled in curricular activities, securing numerous positions, trophies, and awards. The chief guest, Anand Jain, presented prize certificates and medals to the academic and sports toppers, acknowledging their outstanding achievements.
The celebration reached its pinnacle with breathtaking performances by the students, showcasing India's cultural diversity with acts such as Qawali, Yoga, Plays, Songs, Dance performances, and fusion folk. The performances not only captivated the hearts of those in attendance but also created an unforgettable atmosphere.
Anand Jain, IGP Jammu, applauded the efforts of the school's management and teachers for consistently fostering excellence in both academic and cultural activities. The Chief Guest recognized the outstanding performances of the students and commended the institution for its dedication to holistic development.
The Vice-Principal, Mridhu Padha, expressed gratitude in the vote of thanks, acknowledging the collective efforts that contributed to the grand success of the event. St. Xavier Convent School's 26th Annual Day Celebration left an indelible mark, celebrating not just academic achievements but also the cultural vibrancy and unity among the students.
