| Jora for modernizing tourist sector in the state | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Feb 14- Minister for Tourism and Culture Mr. Nawang Rigzin Jora has said that the educated youth can play a great role in bringing the tourism sector on modern lines in the state which can provide a great deal of employment to them.
The Minister was speaking at the concluding function of the 13 day training programme at the Institute of Hotel Management here today. He said such programmes can also be held at Pahalgam and Gulmarg.
About 65 youth participated in the training programme from JKTDC and other Hotel Managements.
Later, the Minister distributed certificates among the participants.
Secretary Tourism Tanveer Jahan, Director Tourism Mr. Farooq Ahmad Shah, Managing Director JKTDC Mr. Rafiq Qadiri and Principal of the Institute Shri Vastav attended the function. |
