| SIT to probe New Plots robbery | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, FEB14: K Rajendra Kumar, Inspector General of Police Jammu has taken serious note of the incident of armed robbery of a jewellery shop in New Plots adjoining Citizens Cooperative Bank at gun point late last night. The robbers also fired upon an employee of the shop before fleeing from the spot.
DySP Swatantra Arora, Inspector Bishnesh, Inspector Gurmeet Singh, SI Krishan Chand and SI Rakesh Mani are the members of the Special Investigation Team.
Rajendra has directed the Deputy Inspector General of Police Jammu-Kathua Range and Sr. Superintendent of Police Jammu to constitute a Special Investigation Team to investigate the case on priority basis and identify the culprits and arrested them immediately. He also appealed to the people to cooperate with police and pass on any information which may lead to the identification and arrest of the accused and assured full confidentiality suitable reward to such persons. |
