KALAKOTE, Dec 23: Government Degree College (GDC) Kalakote embarked on a significant journey towards realizing the vision of "Viksit Bharat," showcasing the transformative impact of welfare schemes through a compelling documentary. Held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Seema Arora, Principal of GDC Kalakote, the event garnered enthusiastic participation from faculty and students alike.
The documentary highlighted the positive changes brought about by welfare schemes such as Garib Kalyan Rojgar Abhiyaan, Samagra Shiksha, PM Ujjwala Yojana, Digital India, PMAY-G, UJALA, and more. It showcased stories of hope and progress, ranging from dignified employment under Garib Kalyan Rojgar Abhiyaan to the liberating access to LPG connections through PM Ujjwala. The film also depicted tales of self-reliance and upward mobility, emphasizing the inclusive education model of Samagra Shiksha and the illuminating power of UJALA in rural communities.
