| Charak chairs EC Mubarak Mandi Heritage meeting | | |

Jammu, February 15- A meeting of the Executive Committee Mubarak Mandi Jammu Heritage Society was held under the Chairmanship of Executive Committee Mubarak Mandi Jammu Heritage Chairman, Mr Gulchain Singh Charak to consider and approve the Budget Proposals of Mubarak Mandi Jammu Heritage Society for the year 2008-09 and 2009-10 here today.
The meeting discussed various issues which include provision of salary, medical reimbursement insurance, travel expenses, office expenses, telephone charges, rent, rate and taxes, wages and honorarium. Besides, meeting took stock of security situation in and around Mubarak Mandi and decided to ensure fool proof security to the existing property in view of recent fire incident which took place within the complex.
Principal Secretary to Government, PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Mr. A.K Angurana, Divisional Commissioner Jammu Mr. Pawan Kotwal, District Development Commissioner Jammu Mr. Mandeep K. Bhandari and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, Mr. Charak while deliberating upon the forth coming Chief Minister’s visit to the Mubarak Mandi complex said that all necessary arrangements should be made for the purpose. He said that Executive Committee shall approach the state government for financial and psychological support so that the dream comes true about reshaping and renovating the Mubarak Heritage complex. He said that the executive committee shall leave no stone unturned in completing the work in a smooth and fashionable manner.
On this occasion, Mr. Charak while suggesting measures for ensuring safe environment in the Mubarak Mandi complex said that necessary security staff should be deployed, in which an officer of Additional SP rank with a contingent of disciplined police personnel may be posted in the complex.
Principal Secretary desired in the meeting that a Screening Committee/Budget Sub-Committee may be duly constituted in the next meeting of Executive Committee to make revised estimate and budget proposals in future.
