RAMBAN, Dec 24: Steered by Deputy Commissioner, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is making remarkable strides in Ramban district, successfully covering 136 Panchayats and 3 municipalities to date.
Under the initiative, events at the Panchayat level are strategically designed to enhance awareness and ensure the saturation of government schemes among the local populace. The activities orchestrated at these events aim at fostering growth, promoting participation in government initiatives, and achieving program saturation, with a special focus on flagship schemes like Ayushman Bharat - PMJAY, PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, and Kisan Credit Card (KCC), showcasing an unwavering commitment to community empowerment. In a majority of Panchayats, the Yatra transcends mere awareness, featuring interactive sessions spotlighting technological advancements in agriculture and nutritional awareness led by Poshan (ICDS) officials. Furthermore, the Yatra provides access to free healthcare services under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, with beneficiaries sharing their positive experiences through the ‘Mari Kahaani Meri Zubaani’ initiative, adding a personal touch to the Yatra’s profound impact. During a noteworthy event , SDM Banihal, Zaheer Abbas , joined PRIs, the general public, and prominent citizens at Panchayat Sarachi, emphasizing the collaborative spirit that propels this transformative effort.
Guided by Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer Ul Haq, a dedicated team of senior officers, including ADDC Rajinder Sharma, PO ICDS Jahangir Hashmi and ADC, Harbans Lal are closely monitoring the progress of Yatra for its successful impact.
