Reasi campus, University of Jammu, inspires youth voices for "Ideas of Viksit Bharat @2047"

REASI, Dec 24: Reasi Campus, University of Jammu, hosted a dynamic "Essay Writing and Poster Making Event" centered around the theme "Ideas of Viksit Bharat @2047: Voices of Youth." The initiative aimed to provide a platform for young minds to express their thoughts and perspectives on the future of an evolved India by the year 2047.
Enthusiastic participation marked the event, as students from MDP Sociology 1st and 3rd Semester showcased their creativity, critical thinking, and passion for contributing to the vision of a developed India. The platform allowed the youth to articulate their ideas, aspirations, and solutions for building a progressive and inclusive Bharat by 2047.
The participants engaged with a diverse array of essay topics, exploring social, economic, environmental, and technological aspects of a future India. The poster-making segment delved into innovative ideas for sustainable development, social harmony, technological advancements, and inclusive growth. Through visually impactful presentations, participants communicated powerful messages using art and design.
The event not only encouraged critical thinking about future challenges and opportunities but also instilled a sense of responsibility and ownership among the youth for shaping the nation's destiny. Faculty members at Reasi Campus expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response and the quality of submissions, noting the inspiring enthusiasm and creativity displayed by the students.
Prof. S. K. Pandey, Director of Reasi Campus, commended the efforts of both faculty members and students for organizing the event as part of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp yatra. All students of the Reasi campus have actively registered on the Viksit Bharat@2047 portal on MyGov to contribute their views.
The essay writing event, mentored by Dr. Nisha Sharma and Dr. Ravi Kumar, and the poster-making event, guided by Manoj Kumar and Pankaj, exemplified the commitment of Reasi Campus to nurturing holistic development among its students. The success of the event underscored the campus's dedication to providing meaningful platforms for constructive dialogue, expression of opinions, and contributions to the collective vision of a progressive India.
