Ramakrishna Mission organizes free medical camp

JAMMU, Dec 24: On the invitation of the Medical Unit of Ramakrishna Mission Udheywala, a team from Vichar Kranti Manch International, led by its President Dr. Shreyansh Kumar Jain, State Yoga Commissioner & Chairman Indian Yoga Association, visited a Free Medical camp on Neurology organized by Ramakrishna Mission. The camp featured Dr. Sushil Razdhan, a renowned Neurologist, and a team of doctors from various specialties including Cardiology, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Dental, ENT, and Ophthalmology. The team comprised allopathic physicians, physiotherapists, clinical psychologists, and examined nearly 402 patients with the help of 13 doctors.
The camp provided free check-ups for blood sugar, HbA1c, and blood pressure. Additionally, 65 parameters, including CBC, LFT, KFT, Lipid Profile, BSF, urine tests, and Thyroid function tests (T3, T4, TSH), were undertaken. Some free medications were also distributed during the camp.
The initiative is part of Ramakrishna Mission Medical Centre's ongoing commitment to serving the community and providing accessible healthcare to all. The chief guest on the occasion was Sanjiv Verma, Commissioner Secretary GAD. During the event, discussions were held with Swami Yajnadharananda ji, Secretary Ramakrishna Mission Jammu, Dr. Shreyansh Kumar Jain, Sandeep Seointra Addl FC JKAS, Dr. Shreyansh Jain Social Activist, Ashok Gupta Vice President Vichar Kranti Manch International, Yash Pal Sharma, Life coach & a trained Yoga trainer, Monika Khajuria, an experienced Netrasist, and Mohinder Rana, President Padar Welfare Front S/D Attoli (Padar), among others.
The discussions included introducing religious sermons, yoga, and meditation sessions for the patients, aiming to provide useful assistance in their treatment. Dr. Shreyansh Jain offered his services to hold periodic yoga sessions, and Yash Pal offered to conduct monthly sessions on skill development. Swami Yajnadharananda welcomed and felicitated Sanjiv Verma IAS, chief guest, Dr. Sushil Razdhan, Neurologist, and presented a vote of thanks. Swami Yajnadharananda also presented mementos and literature of Swami Vivekananda, Shree Ram Krishna, and Sharda Maa.
