| 05 vehicles involved in illegal mining seized by Jammu Police | | |

Jammu, Dec 24: In a quest to stern the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which police teams of PS Miran Sahib, PP Pounichak and PP Sidhra acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at a location in their respective area and seized 05 vehicles involved in illegal mining. Details of the vehicle seized are as under:
One tractor trolley bearing Chasis No. MBNGAALLU2PPD02315, by PS Miran Sahib
03 tractor trollies I.e 02 tractor trollies bearing Chasis number MBNGAALDBPRL04945
and Chasis No.IVY5050DAMA041211 and one tractor trolley without Registration No, by Pounichak
One Tractor trolley bearing chasis no.MBNAK49AHPTG09293 by PP Sidhra.
The recoveries were made by SHO PS Miran Sahib, I/C PP Pounichak and I/C PP Sidhra in their respective jurisdiction.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
The mining was done in violation of order of Hon'ble High Court of J&k. In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action. |
