| Uri deputation calls on Mufti, plead cause of common masses. | | |

Jammu, Feb 15 -A delegation led by ex-Advocate General and PDP leader Mohammad Musaib Khan today met PDP patron Mufti Muhammad Sayed here at Jammu apprising him about the problems, the people of Uri are confronted with.
The delegation said that no compensation has been yet given to the land owners whose land has been acquired for construction of several roads constructed in Uri and Bunyar Tehsils under Border Development Scheme, earthquake restoration scheme and various other schemes through R&B executing agency subjecting the affected people to many hardships.
The delegation also apprised the former Chief Minister and PDP patron about the plight of people residing at high altitudes in twin Tehsils of Uri and Bunyar due to poor road connectivity.
Mufti assured the deputation that the matter will be taken up with the authorities for immediate redressal.
