JAMMU, Dec 26: On December 26, 2023, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) for Doda, Sh. Abdul Qayoom-JKPS, led a Security Meeting Against Crime (SMAC) at the District Police Office in Doda. The meeting aimed to enhance coordination and synergy among various security and intelligence agencies operating in the district.
Officers from the Army, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), and sister intelligence agencies participated in the meeting. They shared their insights, suggestions, and assessments regarding the current security scenario in the district. The discussion delved into the security situation and explored measures to establish a joint and effective mechanism for monitoring and surveillance.
SSP Doda stressed the importance of vigilance, especially in anticipation of the upcoming winter festival in Bhaderwah, which is expected to attract a large number of tourists. Officers were advised to maintain alertness, exercise effective area domination, and conduct surveillance to prevent any potential disturbances during the festival.
Emphasizing the need for coordination, SSP Doda urged officers to work together to ensure a unified approach to handle any situation effectively. The focus was on preventing the spread of misinformation through social media and countering anti-social elements to maintain the peaceful atmosphere in the district. |
