RAJOURI, Dec 26: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, attended a mega event as part of the ongoing "Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra" at Salani New Bustand Rajouri. The purpose of this initiative is to ensure the seamless reach of Central Government schemes to all corners of the district.
As part of the initiative, mobile vans equipped with information, education and communication (IEC) materials are traveling throughout the district based on a pre-defined schedule. These vans aim to generate public awareness about various central government schemes. They are equipped with a sound system and a digital LED screen that showcases videos of the Prime Minister's addresses, testimonials from beneficiaries, and informative clips to enhance understanding.
Apart from overseeing the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, the DC also inspected stalls set up by different departments at the event. These stalls showcased the schemes of the departments and provided a visual representation of the initiatives aimed at promoting economic growth.
The Deputy Commissioner encouraged the public to take full advantage of the diverse range of schemes available, emphasizing the potential benefits for individuals and the collective progress of the community.
The event at Ward No. 04 of the township featured vibrant cultural performances and presentations, showcasing the cultural diversity and artistic talents within the district.
These cultural elements added a delightful touch to the occasion and fostered a sense of community and shared identity. Participants actively took the Viksit Bharat pledge to demonstrate their commitment to the cause of inclusive development.
During his address, the Deputy Commissioner expressed the significance of this initiative in disseminating information, fostering awareness, and establishing direct interaction with beneficiaries. He highlighted the role of the mobile van in achieving saturation of all schemes and enhancing awareness among the populace. This proactive approach demonstrates the dedication of the administration to ensuring comprehensive awareness and reaching every eligible individual with transformative government schemes.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the transformative impact of the yatra and its instrumental role in fostering development and promoting engagement with government schemes across the nation. The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra reflects the commitment of the Government to inclusive development, ensuring that the benefits of its schemes reach every individual and contribute to the overall socio-economic landscape of the district.
Assistant Commissioner Panchayat Sheraz Chowhan, Tehsildar Rajouri Varinder Sharma, District Social Welfare Officer Abdul Rahim, District Culture Officer Dr. Alam Dar, Executive Officer MC Rajouri, and other officers, officials, prominent citizens, and the public also attended the event.
