JAMMU, Dec 27: In a glittering ceremony held at the Shanti Kunj Auditorium Hall in Sarisab-Pahi Bhattpur, the 7th foundation day of the Ayachi Nagar Youth Organization witnessed the recognition of outstanding individuals dedicated to societal well-being. Among the 20 recipients of the prestigious Mithila Global Award 2023, Afreen Barkat, President of LFO-BHF in Kashmir Province, stood tall for her exceptional contributions to community service.
Hailing from Alamgari Bazar in Srinagar, Afreen Barkat has been an exemplary force in championing various causes. As an active NSS volunteer at Sri Pratap College and the current President of the NGO "Live for Others - Being Helpful Foundation," Barkat's impact resonates across multiple domains, including Menstrual Hygiene, Education, Youth Development, and overall societal welfare.
The ceremony, led by Ayachi Nagar Youth Organization founder Vicky Mandal and presided over by Dr. Colonel SK Jha, showcased the collective efforts of social workers from 10 different states. Distinguished guests, including Madan Jha, Uday Kumar Jha, Rajdev Raman, MB Jaman, Rajesh Mishra, and Raj Jha, added a touch of prestige to the event.
This marks the third consecutive year that the Ayachi Nagar Youth Organization has been recognizing and honoring individuals making significant contributions to society. Afreen Barkat's acknowledgment is a testament to her relentless commitment to voluntary service and aiding those in need.
