| CM anguished over loss of lives in road mishaps | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, FEBRUARY 15 – Chief Minister, Mr. Omar Abdullah has today expressed grief and shock over the loss of 8 precious lives in road accidents at Drabshala, Kishtwar and Dramthal, Udhampur, the other day. He also expressed sympathies with the bereaved families of the deceased.
Five people were killed and four injured when a Bolero car carrying them skidded off the road and rolled down at Drabshala in Kishtwar. In another incident, three members of a family including a minor were killed and six others were injured in an accident at Dramthal bridge on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
The Chief Minister also enquired about the health of the injured who are receiving treatment at Government Medical College, Jammu and District Hospitals. He instructed the medical staff to ensure best possible health-care to the injured for their speedy recovery.
