Early Times Report
KATHUA, Dec 27: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) has made significant strides in fostering rural development across multiple Panchayats in Kathua, Nagrota Gujroo and Mahanpur Blocks. This transformative journey, marked by an aggressive empowerment campaign, has become a beacon of positive change, reaching far and wide to impact the lives of rural citizens.
In the Kathua Block, the VBSY initiative has covered the Panchayats viz Govindsar B, Patyari East, Janglote South, Janglote West in Block Kathua. Under the Nagrota Gujroo Block, the VBSY team has successfully engaged with the communities in Kashed, Salore, Dhanjasdhar and Lakhri. Besides, Mahanpur Block has also witnessed the empowering presence of VBSY in the following Panchayats namely Mahanpur Upper, Dambra West, Plail and Dambra East.
A noteworthy feature of the VBSY initiative is the deployment of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) Vans. These vans have emerged as instrumental in disseminating valuable information about the programs and schemes of the government.
The rural populace has warmly welcomed this initiative, considering it a "good learning experience" that enlightens them about available development opportunities and empowers them through government schemes. The aggressive empowerment campaign has attracted scores of rural citizens who, during the Yatra, patiently listen to the messages of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The discourse has not only increased awareness but also provided insights into various government initiatives, leaving the community better informed and equipped to participate in the nation's development. VBSY is committed to continuing this journey of empowerment, bridging the gap between government schemes and rural citizens, and fostering positive transformations in the grassroots communities.
