Skill training success at Govt Degree College Mahanpur

MAHANPUR, Dec 28: In a significant stride towards enhancing students' practical knowledge, Govt. Degree College Mahanpur recently conducted a Certificate Distribution ceremony for their Skill Training Programme. The event took place today, on December 28, 2023, and marked the culmination of a program that commenced on July 2, 2023.
The Skill Training Programme, focused on Financial Literacy in Banking, Finance, and Mutual Funds, was organized in collaboration with the Bombay Stock Exchange Institute Ltd. A total of 84 students participated in two batches, receiving insightful training from distinguished experts in the financial field.
Led by Dr. Sangeeta Sudan, the Principal of the College, the program featured esteemed speakers including Jasbir Badhan, District Coordinator Kathua, Kamal K. Sharma (Financial Expert and Author), and Ravi Kumar Sharma (Financial Expert). Their expertise added immense value to the training, equipping students with essential skills for the financial sector.
Dr. Sapna Devi oversaw the smooth conduct of the program, facilitating a dynamic learning environment for the participants. During the Certificate Distribution ceremony, Dr. Sangeeta Sudan expressed her gratitude to the expert team from BSE Institute Ltd. for their valuable contributions to the institution and students.
The event was not only a platform for certificate distribution but also an opportunity for trainees and experts to share their experiences and insights gained during the skill development program. The exchange of knowledge and practical insights provided a holistic view of the impact of the training on both students and professionals.
The presence of other faculty members, including Dr. Balbinder Singh, Prof. Rupalee, Prof. Suman, Prof. Mohammad Sardar Bhatti, Prof. Nishu, Sourabh Dutta, Prof. Hilal, Prof Ajay, Mr. Sunny Sharma, added to the collaborative spirit of the occasion.
This successful Skill Training Programme not only contributes to the skill development of students but also strengthens the ties between educational institutions and industry experts. The Govt.
