HISI organizes donation camp at Baba Peer Mitha

JAMMU, Dec 28: Hira Lal Abrol, Chairman of Healthy India Stronger India (HISI-NGO), along with NGO members, conducted a donation camp at Baba Peer Mitha Darbar in Peermitha near Mastgarh. The camp witnessed a large turnout from Ward number - 3, Jammu East, where warm suits, blankets, books, notebooks, bags, and stationary items were generously distributed to those in need.
The donation of study materials, including books and notebooks, received appreciation from the student community and their parents. They expressed gratitude to the NGO's chairman for supporting their education and contributing to building a better future. The distribution of warm suits was especially welcomed by ladies who acknowledged the importance of the suits in tolerating the extreme winter chill.
Recipients of blankets happily opened the packets and covered themselves to ward off the cold. The President of Kashyap Rajput Biradari, Ram Labhaya, General Secretary Jeet Raj, Manzoor Hussian, Vishal Sharma, and prominent members of civil society, along with members of Healthy India Stronger India, participated in the drive, extending their support for this noble cause.
Members of the NGO also played a crucial role in distributing Langar Prasad to the devotees at the venue. Healthy India Stronger India, founded by Chairman Hira Lal Abrol, operates a 'Free Training Centre' for skill development among needy and poor children from BPL families. The center offers free courses in Basic Computers, Cutting & Tailoring, Beautician Course, Vocal Music, Dance, and provides a Free Library for students.
Over 6065 students have successfully completed courses from this center, securing placements in various organizations or starting their ventures. HISI not only focuses on skill development but also imparts moral values and life skills to its students. The organization aims to uplift the status of women in society, making them self-reliant. Female trainees are also provided with 'Self Defence' training, reflecting HISI's commitment to holistic development and social impact.
