JAMMU, Dec 30: In a heartfelt farewell, Dr. Sanjay Turki, Assistant Director of Schemes at Health Services Jammu, bid adieu to his 34 years of dedicated service with the Health Department. The staff of the Directorate of Health Services Jammu organized a warm send-off to honor Dr. Turki on the occasion of his superannuation.
Dr. Sanjay Turki's illustrious career was characterized by numerous accomplishments in various administrative roles. Notably, under his leadership, Samba district achieved the distinction of being the first district in the country to attain 100% saturation in Ayushman Bharat in April 2022. Throughout his tenure, Dr. Turki served with selfless devotion in roles such as District Health Officer Jammu, District Immunization Officer Jammu, Dy. Chief Medical Officer Jammu, Chief Medical Officer Jammu, State Malariologist Jammu, State TB Officer Jammu, Chief Medical Officer Samba, and Assistant Director of Schemes with additional responsibilities as Dy. Director of Schemes at the Directorate of Health Services Jammu. Dr. Turki's 34 years were marked by significant administrative reforms at various levels, showcasing his commitment to public health. Recognized as an honest, dedicated, and meticulous officer, he leaves behind a legacy of service and positive contributions to the health sector.
A farewell function was organized at the Directorate's premises, where the staff expressed their gratitude and best wishes to the retiring officer. They acknowledged Dr. Turki for his administrative guidance, unwavering support, and cooperation throughout his tenure. The well-wishing staff extended their hopes for a healthy and happy post-retirement life for Dr. Sanjay Turki.
