JAMMU, Jan 4: One day awareness programme was held at NCC camp, Nagrota, which was organized by Civil Defence, Jammu under the supervision of Dy. SP, Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. The programme was organized in the premises of the NCC Camp, Nagrota where 540 NCC cadets (Boys) from various Colleges and Schools of Jammu province participated. Awareness about First Aid, Fire Fighting and other improvised rescue methods during the disaster was given by the Civil Defence experts to the NCC students. A demonstration on first aid & fire fighting was also presented by the Civil Defence team. The main objective of the awareness programme was to inform the students about precautionary measures during natural or man-made disaster.
On the occasion, Col. R.S Jasrotia, Dubble Sena Medal, 2nd J&K, BN NCC, Jammu, Camp CATCJ-6, Paramjit Kumar, Chief Warden CD Jammu, Ram Dayal Saini S.I, in charge Civil Defence Trainings and other staff of the NCC Camp, Nagrota was also present. |
