UDHAMPUR, FEB-17:-To take stock airlifting of essential commodities to district Doda and Kishtwar, the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Dr. Pawan Kotwal convened a review meeting of senior officers of district administration, Udhampur at Dak-Bungalow, Udhampur, today.
The Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, Mr. Ajay Khajuria, DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range, Mr. Alok Puri, SSP Udhampur, Mr. Surinder Gupta, Executive Engineer, PWD and other officers of various departments were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the Divisional Commissioner exhorted upon the officers of PWD to explore possibilities of alternate access route to Doda district via Udhampur district in times of emergencies. He asked them to prepare a detailed project report in this regard so that it could be submitted to Government for approval.
In the meeting Executive Engineer, PWD also presented a power point presentation of alternate access route from Divisional HQ Jammu to Doda district via Udhampur district.
