Police crack down on traffic violators: 56 vehicles challaned for rash driving

KISHTWAR, Jan 9: In a recent operation named "3rd Eye Kishtwar," the Kishtwar Police took strict action against traffic violators, challaning 56 individuals for offenses such as rash driving, riding without helmets, and improper parking within Kishtwar town.
Under the guidance of SSP Kishtwar Khalil Poswal-JKPS, a dedicated team was formed to enforce traffic regulations. Utilizing advanced technology, including CCTV surveillance, the team captured photographs and conducted videography to identify violations accurately. The number plate reading system played a crucial role in identifying the vehicles involved.
Following the identification process, the team ascertained the residential addresses of the vehicle owners. Subsequently, copies of the traffic violation challans, along with photographic evidence, were dispatched to the respective residences.
