JAMMU, Jan 9: Shiv Sena (UBT) and Sainik Samaj Party organized an all-party meeting in Jammu today to protest against the complete collapse of democratic institutions in Jammu and Kashmir, increasing terrorist incidents and the dictatorial attitude of the electricity department, including stopping the arbitrariness of the bureaucracy and fixing accountability. It was resolved to raise voice against it in solidarity on the streets.
Talking to journalists after the meeting Shiv Sena state chief Manish Sahni said that after the assembly, the tenure of the panchayats has also been completed. Reorganized Jammu and Kashmir today is completely democratic and devoid of public representatives. The same bureaucracy is bent upon its own arbitrariness. The electricity department is on top of its dictatorship with consumers. People are troubled by irregularities in electricity bills. Due to the delay in paying bills, electricity is being cut off from people's homes. The behavior of the electricity department has become like that of private companies. with kashmir
