| Theft case solved stolen property recovered | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAMBAN, Jan 9: A complaint was received at Police station Gool from one person namely Mohd Ishaq employee Savronik company Sangaldan regarding theft of earthing almunium Copper coated wire laid on Railway track between Sangaldan and Dharam Railway, Ramban amounting to Rs 50 to 60 thousand approx. On the basis of complainant a case FIR No. 01/2024 U/S 379 IPC dt .06.1.2024 was registered at Police Station Gool and investigation was set into motion.
A special team was constituted by SSP Ramban Ms. Mohita Sharma-IPS, to trace out the theft and to recover the stolen material .During the course of investigation several suspects were rounded up and after strenuous efforts, the police was able to apprehend one person identified as Altaf Ahmed son of Abdul Rashid R/o Salbala Gool,Tehsil Gool, District Ramban and on his disclosure stolen wire was recovered.
The accused person named above disclosed the name of two more suspects namely Irfan Ahmed son of Ghulam Nabi and Tariq Ahmed son of Mohd Sadiq both resident of Sangaldan for their involvement in the commission of offence in the instant case.
The arrest and recovery was effected by police team of PS Gool under overall supervision of SSP Ramban. |
