LEH, Jan 10: Amit Sharma, the Administrative Secretary of Information Technology in UT Ladakh, spearheaded a series of meetings to assess the progress of key technological projects, including the Ladakh State Data Centre and Modified Electronics Manufacturing Clusters. The meetings, held at Sharma's official chamber in the Civil Secretariat, Leh, focused on ensuring the seamless development of these initiatives.
The review covered crucial aspects such as the installation of security measures like CCTVs and fire extinguishers, as well as power supply infrastructure including Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and Diesel Generator (DG) set. Sharma emphasized the adherence to timelines, recognizing the Ladakh State Data Centre's pivotal role in advancing the digital landscape of the region.
During the sessions, Sharma stressed the importance of maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring that all components meet specified technical requirements. Stanzin Dawa from the Information Technology Department delivered a detailed presentation on the Modified Electronics Manufacturing Clusters, covering aspects such as land identification, project implementing agency, and project management.
