Congress denial to attend consecration ceremony at Ayodhya reflected its real face: Kavinder
1/10/2024 9:55:56 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 10: Senior BJP leader and former deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta on Wednesday claimed that the denial to attend consecration ceremony of Ram Temple at Ayodhya by the senior Congress leadership is testimony to the fact that the oldest party in the country is indifferent towards such a significant event of Hindu religion, which is being celebrated in a manner akin to Deepawali.
In a statement issued to media persons, the senior BJP leader said that the refusal to attend the revered ceremony at Ayodhya by Party Chief Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury has once again exposed the Congress of being anti-Sanatan Dharma, because the event was not of a particular political party but was concerning the Hindu Religion and the significance of the same is so much that not only the Hindus living in the country or abroad but other communities living or associated with the country are equally celebrating the occasion with enthusiasm and delight.
Kavinder said that Congress' top brass' denial to be the part of this event has shown its real face to the people and therefore the party is bound to get a befitting response from the people for brazenly denying to join the event related to Lord Rama's temple in Ayodhya City. He said that the consecration ceremony of Ram temple in Ayodhya is not a political event and the Congress leadership should have pondered over the issue hundreds of times before declining the invite for the main function. The former Deputy Chief Minister said that political party which remained in power in the country for maximum time should not have taken the decision over the issue in such a hurry as this will leave a wrong impression among the people and could even devastate the prospects of the party in the coming time.
