Jammu/Sept20:
Three persons trespassed into the house of Saja Bibi, thrashed her brutally and set her kullah on fire on 29th of September. According to reports, Rattan Lal, Ashok Kumar and Madan Lal resident of Gundu Chak intruded into the home of Saja Bibi w/o Fareed Ahmed r/o Gundu Chak, beat her and set her kullah on fire. Later on Saja lodged a complaint with the Satwari Police station about the incident. All the three accused have been absconding till the last report came. Police is investigating the case.
Meanwhile, some miscreants thrashed a local shopkeeper namely Ramesh Kumar s/o Ram Saran r/o Gundu Chak, Satwari, while he was closing his shop. According to the reports, one Abdul Gani and three others beat him imparting serious injuries to him. Later on he was referred to the GMC Hospital. Police has registered a case in this regard and is investigating the matter.
