| Dorje calls on Governor, discusses developmental needs of Leh | | |

Jammu, Feb 18- Chief Executive Councilor Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development
Council (LAHDC) Leh Chhering Dorje today called on the Governor N N Vohra here
today and discussed various issues pertaining to the development of Leh district and the
welfare of the people in detail.
The Executive Councilors, Tsering Norboo Lampa, Stanzin Delex, Mohammed Khan and
Councilors were also present on the occasion.
In the meantime, the Executive Councilor Art and Culture, LAHDC Leh Stanzin Delex
and Executive Councilor Minority Affairs Mohammed Khan also called on the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and apprised him about the demands of the people of Nobra. The demands included opening of a Degree College at Deskit, construction of multipurpose tunnel at Khardomgla, granting of tehsil status for Deskit and upgradation of PHC Sumooor.
Chief Minister is reported to have given a patient hearing to the deputation and assured to fulfill their demands in phased manner.
