National Youth Day Celebration at GGM SC College Jammu by NSS Units

JAMMU, Jan 12: The NSS Units of GGM SC College are thrilled to announce their grand celebration of National Youth Day on January 12, 2024. In line with the spirit of the occasion, NSS volunteers of GGM Science College participated in the symposium organized by the office of Dean student welfare, cluster university, Jammu. It provided a platform for insightful discussions and exchange of ideas among the youth.
A notable highlight of the event was the live streaming by the Honourable Prime Minister, showcasing the national significance of this celebration. The live broadcast by the PM added a unique dimension, connecting the local celebration with the broader national narrative on youth empowerment and development.
Besides an elocution competition on theme 'Importance of national youth day' was also organised at GGM Science college to inculcate the teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
Prof Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Principal of the college encouraged the students to participate in such activities and highlighted the teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
The NSS Units at GGM SC College were excited to bring together the youth in a spirit of unity and enthusiasm, fostering a sense of responsibility towards the community and the nation. This day promises to be an engaging and enlightening experience for all participants, as we all collectively celebrate the energy and potential of the youth on this special day.
