| DPS Jammu honours Chahat Masoom | | |

Jammu, Feb 18- Chahat Masoom, a VIIth class student of Delhi Public School, Jammu, has been awarded National Children Award-2007 for her exceptional ability in the field of academics and sports by the Union Ministry of Women and Child Development. The award carried a Silver medal, a certificate and Rs. 10,000. The award was conferred on Masoom by UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi while the Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra awarded a set of professional roller skates to her.
On behalf of management of Delhi Public School Jammu, S.S. Sodhi Director and Founder member of DPS Board also presented a trophy and cash award of Rs. 5000 to Chahat Masoom at a specially organized assembly to encourage the budding girl who brought laurels to the School, parents and J&K State. He also wished her every success in future. Sudarshan Sonar, Principal DPS, Jammu also congratulated Chahat Masoom and her teachers for achieving the rare success.
