| Adbi Kunj organizes Literary Meet | | |

Jammu Feb 18- Renowned Urdu poet ‘Mirza Ghalib’ was remembered on his 140 birth anniversary at a literary meet organized by the Adbi Kunj here. A special literary ‘Mushayira’ was organized to commemorate the birth anniversary.
Well known Dogri writer and famous music composer Dr. Harish Kaila presided over the function, while Santosh Nadan, a welll known Kashmiri poetess was the chief guest. Susheel Begana, Secretary Adbi Kunj conducted the proceedings.
The function was attended by a number of writers, poets and intellectuals. Sham Talib president of Adbi Kunj in his welcome address congratulated Kumari Sunandini Jamwal daughter of Susheel Begana Secretary Adbi Kunj for securing first prize in on the spot children’s music competition organized by the J&K Academy of Art, Culture and languages last weak.
He also paid rich tributes to Mirza Asad Ullah Khan Ghalib and recalled his literary contribution in Urdu literature. Others, who also paid tributes and threw detailed light on literary life of Mirza Ghalib, were, Talib Kashmiri, Susheel Begana, Com. Jaswant Singh, Maharaj Krishan and Prof. Ved Parkash Gupta.
