Jammu, Feb 18- To mark the Urs of Hazrat Babi Sahib Larvee, a 2 day Seerat conference was held at Vidhara Nagar Bataindi here today. Bahshir Ahmed Sajaada Nasheen Darbar Aliya was the chief guest.
Renowned Islamic scholars of the country spoke on the life of Prophet Mohammad and highlighting his conduct in different spheres of life with special reference to humility and modesty that the Prophet demonstrated during his life time.
The speakers also threw light on the teachings of Islam referring to Suhabas(associates of Prophet) and Saints who practiced the Islam during their lives in the truest spirit.
The speakers made it clear that Islam stands for peace and it has always inspired the values of peace, harmony and tolerance among the human kind. They maintained that Islam do not teach violence and tyranny and instead stands for unity, harmony and brotherhood among the human beings.
They said that history bears testimony that Islam has always been a beacon light for progress and prosperity of people and inspired them to follow the path of truth.
The renowned scholars from within outside the state who spoke on the occasion were Mufti Mohammad Qasim from Orissa, Mulana Sayed Akhtar, Muradabadi, Mulana Umran Hanfi Sahib Muradabadadpuri, Zahid Ali from Bareli Sharief UP, Mufti Mohammad Afaq from UP, besides, Maulana Dil Mohammad Ranjan, Mulana Sayed Basharat from Surankot and Mulana Farooq from Rajouri
